Vera Louise (Davis) Slager

SLAGER, Vera Louise- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vera Louise Slager (nee Davis) in her 56th year. Peacefully on October 6, 2012, at VON Sakura House, with her family by her side, Vera lost her very courageous battle with cancer. Vera will be lovingly remembered by her husband Dave, children Stephanie (Jason) Wright, Joshua and Luke, her parents Cassie and Al Davis, brother Terry (Laura) Davis, mother in law Nancy Slager (late Charles), and mostly by her beloved grandchildren Jonah and Ellis Wright. Vera will also be missed by many inlaws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Vera touched the lives of so many in her short time and will be greatly missed by all. We invite you to join with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Wednesday October 10th from 6-8 pm and Thursday October 11th from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 pm where a celebration of Vera's life will be held on Friday October 12th at 11:00 am.
