KIRBY, Velma, M. - At the Woodstock Hospital on Thursday, January 19, 2012. Velma May Kirby (nee Kempert) of Caressant Care, Woodsock in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late William Kirby (1995). Much loved grandmother of Matthew (Valerie) Sexsmith. Dear sister of Sharron Van Wagoner (Gary Putland), Mervin (Lillian) Kempert, Wayne (Ruby) Kempert, William (Cathy) Kempert. Predeceased by her daughter Janice Sexsmith, and brother George (Ruth Ann) Kempert. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004, Thursday January 26, 2012 after 12:30, where the complete memorial service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 1:30 pm. Interment later in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. If desired, contributions to the Woodstock Hospital, Salvation Army, or the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated.
