Velma Margaret (Sedgewick) Couch

COUCH- "In Heaven and upon Earth, Our loss is an angels first flight" At the Woodstock General Hospital after a long courageous battle and with Bonnie at her side on Monday February 14, 2005. Velma M. Couch (nee Sedgewick) of Chieftain St., and formerly of Dufferin St. Woodstock in her 74th year. Beloved wife of the late K. Leroy Couch (1997). Dear mother of Eleanor Couch, Pam Saunders, Muriel Williams and her husband Gordon and Alf Couch and Terry Jamieson all of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Penney Cole and her husband Mark, Shawn Jamieson and Nellie and Bradley Jamieson. Also survived by her great granddaughter Kiana Lee Cole and sister Janet Lavoie and her husband Ray and by her several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Alfred Sedgewick and Josephine (Gable), sister Vivian L. Waud and brother Warren. Friends may call at the R. D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Friday 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9 pm where a memorial service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 10:00 am with Rev. Bruce Genge and Rev. David Joyce will officiate. Interment in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
