LOGAN- Peacefully at the Maples Nursing Home, Tavistock on Wednesday March 21st 2012. Vaughn I. Logan formerly of Curries in his 85th year. Beloved husband for over 58 years of Verna E. Logan (nee McComb). Dedicated father of Murray and his wife Pat of Woodstock. Proud grandfather of Leah, Matthew, Curtis and Chris. Dear brother of Mac and Barbara Logan and their family. Brother-in-law of Helen Karn and her family. Predeceased by his parents Murray V. Logan (1955) and Reba (Coneybeare) Logan (1988) and his brother-in-law Howard J. Karn (2003). Vaughn was a dedicated farmer , and a true steward of the land. Even as his health deteriorated, he continued to maintain a keen interest in all facets of farming, keeping up to date on the latest developments through his reading. Vaughn was a longtime member of Curries United Church. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the familyat the Brock and Viser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday March 23rd 2012 from 7-9 pm, and Saturday from 12:30 -1:30 pm followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 1:30 pm with Pastor Barb Dawson officiating.
