ARTS, Tyler- It is with our immense sadness we announce the passing of our beautiful boy, Tyler Arts on Wednesday, November 14, 2018. Born on December 19, 2000 in Ingersoll, Ontario. He was the beloved child of Rick and Dale Arts, adored by his older siblings Samantha, Jamie, Scott (Bree), and Jennifer (Conner). Cherished by proud grandparents Harv & Lyn Fishleigh and Marinus & Cathy Arts. Much loved nephew of Robin (Mark) Ellis, Joe (Arley) Arts, Louise (Rick) Wardrop, Ben Arts (Michelle Jayne), Ron (Andrea) Arts, Trish (Craig) Hennessy, Jeanette (Brian) Fidler, Cathy (Chris) Fidler, and Betty (Greg) Clarke. Ty Ty is survived by his army of cousins, their spouses and children. He leaves behind his band of brothers, Carter, Eric, Tanner, as well as the most tight-knit group of lifelong friends. Tyler was a man with a clever smirk and grin that will never be forgotten. His joyful, chirpy presence will be greatly missed in the halls of IDCI. He loved all sports but his greatest love was hockey. He played his minor hockey career with the Thamesford Attack, St. Thomas Stars, and Ingersoll Express. His crowning glory was winning the Triple Crown for hockey (regional Silver Stick, international Silver Stick and Bantam B OMHA title) with his Dad as coach in 2014/15. TA7, a member of the Ingersoll Express Juvenile team, has never played a game without his mom, grandparents and siblings cheering from the stands. His warm character was something that could never be defined as ‘debatable'. Above all else, we will miss his enormous heart and generosity. Friends are welcome to join the family at Thamesford Recreation Centre on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at 1pm for a Celebration of Life with a brief service being held at 2pm. The family would be grateful if everyone could wear a hockey jersey in Ty's honour and to please bring your favourite photo of Tyler for the photo wall. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Oxford Community Foundation where a legacy fund will be established in Tyler's name. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Brock and Visser Funeral Home Thamesford Chapel, (519-285-2427). www.brockandvisser.com
