Trent Earl Howard Hussey

January 8, 1961 — April 12, 2023

Trent Earl Howard Hussey, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully after a short and courageous battle with cancer on April 12, 2023, in London, Ontario, surrounded by his family. Born on January 8, 1961, in London, Ontario,


Trent is survived by his devoted spouse, Darlene and was married for almost 32 years, as well as their children, Dina Crandall (Jeremy), Courtney Lindlau (Karl), and Lyndsey Crandall (Patty), Brittany Hussey (Jon) and Trent Hussey Jr. He was also a proud grandfather to Hayden, Dawson, Logan, Kaylee, Denise, Aiden and Kaydence. Trent was the cherished son of Louise and Howard Hussey and son-in-law to Marilyn Wilken. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Kevin Berezoski (Jessica), sister-in-law, Cheryl Berezoski, and the late Brenda Berezoski as well as many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his sister, Tracey Masson, and her late husband, Rick, and his brother, Danny Hussey.

Trent had a deep love for the outdoors and found great joy in fishing and exploring the beauty of nature and wildlife. He often shared stories of his adventures with his family and friends, inspiring them with his enthusiasm and passion for life.

One of Trent's greatest joys in life was spending time with his grandchildren, who were a constant source of pride and happiness for him. His love and devotion to his family were unwavering, and he will be remembered as a pillar of strength and support, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday April 17th, 2023, 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday April 18th, 2023 at 1 pm at Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave.)


The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Doctor Vu and to the staff at Victoria Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their compassionate care and support during his battle with cancer. Their dedication and kindness made a tremendous difference in Trent's life and the lives of his loved ones.


Trent's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, but his spirit will live on through the cherished memories and the beautiful legacy he leaves behind. As we remember Trent, let us be inspired by his adventurous spirit and his unwavering love for his family.
