VANDEN BERG, Tony - As a result of an accident at work, "Tony" Anthony John Vanden Berg of Woodstock in his 53rd year. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Poole) Vanden Berg for nearly 29 years. Dear father of Sam Vanden Berg, Tawny Vanden Berg (Craig Fox) and Sarah Vanden Berg all of Woodstock. Dear brother of Derrick Vanden Berg (Karen) of Embro, Michelle Harris (Bill) of Zenda, brother-in-law to Margaret Page (Frank) and Peter Poole (Sharron) all of Woodstock and is survived by several nieces and nephews. He will also be sadly missed by his dog Maddy. Tony was a loved friend and employee of Ideal Pipe where he was known as "Big T". Sharing good times with his family and friends was his idea of a good day off. It is in his "Man Shed" that he is known as the "CEO" and "President". Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday July 23, 2013 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Rev. David Snihur officiating. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial contributions to the Thorndale Volunteer Fire Fighters would be appreciated (cheques accepted).
