Tom Faulkner

FAULKNER - At his residence on Thursday August 24, 2006. John Thomas "Tom" Faulkner of Bonnie Brae, Tavistock and formerly of Woodstock in his 88th year. Beloved husband of A. Marie Faulkner (nee Read) for over 58 years. Dear father of John Faulkner (Karen Wright) of Chilliwack, B.C. and Beth Faulkner of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Rheanna Wright of Chilliwack, B.C. Dear brother of James Faulkner of Woodstock and Ernest Faulkner (Peggy) of Toronto and uncle of several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Robert Faulkner (late Marjorie) and by his sister-in-law Kathleen Faulkner. Tom was a longtime member of Church of the Epiphany (New St. Paul's Anglican Church), was a veteran of WW II serving with the R.C.A.F. and had worked at Elliott Bros. Garage as a mechanic for over 42 years. Friends may call at the R. D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Friday August 25, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held in remembrance of Tom at the Church of the Epiphany, 19 Wellington St. S., Woodstock on Saturday August 26, 2006 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Christine Downey officiating. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery. Contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Church of the Epiphany would be appreciated.
