Timothy "Tim" Richard Houthuyzen

Houthuyzen, Timothy Richard “Tim” – It is with heavy hearts that his family mourns the sudden passing on Sunday June 20, 2021, at home in Midland, Ontario in his 59th year. Proud father to his precious and most loved son, Storm who was a constant source of joy and happiness. “Chosen” son to the late Christiaan (2018) and late Antje (2020) Houthuyzen. Tim is also survived by his siblings Conny (Harvey) Masson of Woodstock, Ernie (Joanne) Houthuyzen of Sweaburg, Stephanie (Andrew) Allen of Sackville, NS and Nicki (Jim) Howe of Woodstock. Tim is also survived by his large extended family of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Growing up Tim loved to fish by the creek, swim in the pond, play in the barn and explore wherever he could.  He was curious by nature which often led to trips to the emergency room. Tim had the largest heart and gave the best bear hugs. He was friendly, loyal and never afraid of a hard day’s work. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Saturday September 11, 2021, from 3 – 5pm, for an informal time of remembrance and celebration. Tim’s wish would be for people to be happy, share a few beers, share a few stories and laughs. Cremation has taken place. Visitors are asked to RSVP their attendance to the celebration of life on the funeral home website.
