Thomas "Tom" Murphy

MURPHY, Thomas “Tom” E.- Passed away suddenly at Woodstock Hospital on Sunday, March 20th, 2022, with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Brenda Murphy (nee Iutzi). Loving father of Darrin (Jacque) Murphy, Shannon Murphy, and Jeremy (Karla) Porter. Proud Papa of Alex, Duncan, and Aiden Murphy, Tyson, Payton, and Kadence Porter. Predeceased by his parents Vernon and Lenore Murphy, and his stepmom Jean Murphy. Dear brother of the late Stan (Marjorie), and the late Pat (late Bob) Roberts. Tom worked for Lloyds Electric for over 48 years. One of his main passions in life was hockey and he enjoyed his many years playing the sport. He also loved watching his grandchildren play sports. Tom and Brenda loved to travel. He was keen on finding those deals and bringing family and friends along for the ride. His joke recall was always good for a laugh. Cremation has taken place and the family will be holding a private gathering at a later date. Contributions to Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Critical Care Unit at Woodstock Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
