Munro, Thomas “Tom” Glen – In his 60th year, Tom passed peacefully at the family farm in, Brooksdale Ontario, on March 10, 2022 surrounded by his loving family & fur baby Jules.

Best friend & life partner to his high school sweetheart Shelley.

Cherished DAD of Josh (Katrina), Jessalyn (Trevor) & Jeremy (Lianne).

Proud Papa to Cam, Mac & Mikayla.

Dear baby brother to Eva (Pete), Gord (Beth), Ron (Irene), Donna (Bill), & Heather (Tony) & Uncle to many nieces & nephews.

Survived by his mother-in-law, Betty Pullin.

Predeceased by his parents Laurence & Mary Munro & his father-in-law William Pullin.

Tom was raised on the family farm which he & Shelley purchased from his parents. Together they developed it into his dream of Sheltom Farms Ltd. He enjoyed his daily life in the fields, chicken barns & could often be found tinkering in the shop working on equipment late into the night.

As time went on & his three children grew learning the ropes on the farm helping with daily chores, he began to enjoy some much deserved time off at the family cottage in Port Franks, Ontario.

He could be found relaxing in the gazebo watching the water & cruising the river out to Lake Huron, enjoying the open water & beautiful sunsets.

He was an avid hockey fan & enjoyed all the time spent chauffeuring, cheering & sometimes coaching his 3 kids hockey games as they grew up. Right up to his last days, he loved watching his sons play hockey together and his two grandsons as they begin their hockey days.  He has remained a faithful Toronto Maple Leaf fan and could often be found cheering from the couch on game nights.

Cremation has taken place & a private service is being held.

A Celebration of his Life will be held on Friday March 25th at the Tavistock Memorial Hall from 2pm to 7pm.

Honour him with your favourite hockey team attire.
