Thomas Caley "Tom" Maltby

MALTBY, Thomas C. - At the Woodstock Hospital on Monday October 19, 2015, surrounded by the love of family. Thomas "Tom" Caley Maltby of Tillsonburg was in his 84th year. Beloved companion of Shirley Ilene Wardle for over 25 years. Cherished father of Reita Maltby (Kathy), Judy Maltby, Barry Maltby (Julie), Shane Maltby (Sharlene) and daughter-in-law Mary Maltby. Tom will be also missed by Shirley's children Mike Wardle, Marty McCormick (Steve Rau), Carolin Poortinga and Dan Wardle. Dear grandfather of Ashley Maltby, Cayla Maltby, Aaron Maltby, Brookelyn Maltby and Sarah Maltby. Also survived by his brother Bill Maltby and sisters-in-law Carol Maltby and Norma Maltby. Predeceased by his first wife Reita Elizabeth (nee Bonney) Maltby and by his sons Thomas Maltby and Mike Maltby. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004, on Sunday October 25,2015 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. The complete memorial service will be held at the Salvation Army Community Church, 769 Juliana Drive, on Monday October 26,2015 at 1pm with Major Stephen Sears officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment later in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. If desired, contributions to the VON Sakura House, or the Salvation Army Community Church would be appreciated.
