Thelma Elizabeth (Lock) Yeo
August 28, 1929 — March 6, 2024
Thelma Elizabeth Yeo, known affectionately as Thelma to all who knew and loved her, was born on August 28, 1929 and passed away peacefully on March 6, 2024, in her 95th year, at Woodingford Lodge in Woodstock.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, James, in 2003, Thelma's legacy is carried on through her cherished family. She was a loving mother to Murray (Edith) Yeo, Marg (John) Walton, and Glenna (Gerald) Junker.
Her wisdom and kindness live on in the hearts of her grandchildren, Mike (Nicole), Eric (Jenn), Rhonda (Andy), Rob (Daniele), Brian, Alicia (Rob), and Steph (Mike), as well as her thirteen great-grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy. Thelma was a sister, aunt, and friend to many.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Ruth Shields, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Ivan (Eva) Lock, and several brothers and sisters-in-law.
Family and friends will be received at Brock & Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Monday, March 11, 2024 from 10am – 11am with a funeral service following in the chapel at 11am.
Thelma will be laid to rest with her husband Jim at Innerkip Cemetery at a later date.
