Susanne Mae Birtch

BIRTCH, Susanne Mae (nee Valiant)- Passed away suddenly but peacefully in the company of her dear friend on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017, in her 82nd year. Loving mother of Norman Scott(Dorothy), the late Darren Edward, and Margaret Susan (Jay). Proud grandmother of Jeremy, Kristen, Kaylee, and Nathan. She will be forever remembered by her dear friends Carolyn Remington, Mary Kersel, the 3rd floor nurses and her wonderful neighbours. Susanne leaves behind her furry friends Annie and Amy whom she loved dearly. Susanne was an avid reader and traveler, and a lover of animals. She absolutely adored her children and grand kids most in the world. Sue was a proud graduate of the Class of '57 from the Victoria Hospital School of Nursing, and worked as an obstetrical nurse for over 40 years. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), on Wednesday, December 6th, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm, where the memorial service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 am.
