Steven Helmut Hagedorn

HAGEDORN, Steven Helmut - Died Peacefully at Sakura House in Woodstock, Ontario on August 6, 2012 in his 55th year after a short battle with cancer. Beloved and devoted husband of Donna (nee Mayhew), cherished father of Patricia (Brendan Moon) and Jessica (Ryan Leggo) and dear Papa of Mylee (Monkey), Aubree and Ember. Steven was born in Toronto January 13, 1958 and was the oldest son of Erika Greer (John) and Helmut Hagedorn (August 11, 2009). Mourned by his brothers Ronald (Mary Kate) and John (Marguerita). Son-in-law of Doreen Mayhew, brother-in-law to Treasa and Kazek Supinski, Judy and Eric Almert, Debbie Howard and Terry Howard, Ken and Vera Mayhew, Rob and Colleen Mayhew, and Steve Mayhew and Ann Mayhew. Also mourned by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many cousins and their families and many friends. Steven worked at Hobart Brothers for many years and met life's challenges with wit, humor and grace. Friends may call at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock 519 539-0004, on Friday August 10, 2012 at 2:30 - 4:30 pm & 7:00 - 9:00 pm, where the Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday August 11, at 11:00 am with Pastor Brown officiating. Interment immediately following the service at Oxford Memorial Park. Cremation has taken place.
