MORRIS, Sterling William - Passed away in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia on Thursday, June 19, 2014 in his 81st year. He was the beloved husband of the late Sylvia (nee Cooledge) Morris. Loving father to Wendy Jardine (John), Nancy Marshall (David), Donna Barrett (late Terrance), Roy Morris (Marie), Ron Morris (Charlene). Cherished grandfather to Tracy, Jamie, Matthew, Geoffrey, Jackie, Brian, Justin, Roger, Kathryn and Jack and great grandfather to Trystin. Predeceased by grandsons Christopher and Jason. Sterling was an avid Montreal Canadiens fan and made sure all Leaf loving fans know just who was #1 of the original 6. Friends are invited to join the family at the Harland B. Betzner Funeral Home, 177 Dundas St., Thamesford, 519-285-2427 on Monday from 6-8pm and again an hour prior to the service which will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 2:00pm with Rev. Mark Marshall officiating. Interment in the Zion Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
