Stephen Nancekivell

NANCEKIVELL, Stephen- It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Nancekivell in his sleep on April 19, 2020, in his 69th year. Steve worked for several different firms in Woodstock and area, primarily in purchasing. Steve shared a residence and cared for Carol, his former wife until her passing June 2018. Steve loved sports and actively participated in ball, hockey, and golf in his younger days. He will be missed by his brother Bob and his wife Ursula of Petawawa, their son Michael (Tracy) and children Paige and Connor, their daughter Angela (Joe) and son Owen. His brother Gary Paterson and his wife Wendy, their son Ian, their daughter Laura (Michael) and children Quinn, Lucas, Tanner, Cody, and Avery, also a very special uncle to Adam Tabor. Steve will lovingly be remembered by many more family members. A special thank you to Laura (Michael) who spent endless hours attending to his needs both in the hospital and at his home during our and Bob’s absence particularly through February and March. As per Steve’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration will take place at a later date.
