TRIBE- Peacefully at Woodstock Hospital on Monday April 8th 2013. Stanley Tribe of Woodstock in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Luana Merle Tribe (nee Chamberlain)(2011). Dear father of David (Carol) Tribe of Springford and John (Lynda) Tribe of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Scott, Shawn, Paul and Douglas Tribe. Cherished great grandfather of thirteen. Dear brother of Richard (Pauline) Tribe and brother-in-law of Jessie Tribe, Ione Bennett and Bob Vine. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Nina Tribe (nee Leigh), and siblings Harry Tribe, Elsie Parsons, Joseph Tribe, George Tribe, Edith Johnson, Norma Tribe, Helen Wittet-Vine, Betty Vine, Louise Gates and Betty June Tribe. Stanley was a Canadian Army Veteran of WW II, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 190 Norwich, as well as a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Woodstock and formerly a member of Burgessville Baptist Church. Friends will be received at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Wednesday April 10th 2013 from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday April 11th 2013 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Doug Anderson of First Baptist Church officiating, assisted by Rev. Lola Mather-Dyer. Interment to take place in the Burgessville Baptist Cemetery.
