Stanley Allan "Stan" Hollis

HOLLIS- At Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday September 23, 2007. Stanley A. Hollis of Woodstock in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Helen A. Hollis (nee Barta) for over 51 years. Dear father of Cathy Thompson and her husband Terry of Woodstock, David Hollis of Wallaceburg, Brenda Page and her late husband Richard (2006) of Markham and Brian Hollis and his wife Jo-Anne of London. Loved grandfather of Lindsay, Matthew, Alexander, Tristan, Nicole and Michael and brother-in-law of Elizabeth Toth and her late husband John of Hamilton. Stan was a longtime member and usher of the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, a founding fund raiser of the original St. Rita's Catholic Parish and retired from Firestone Textiles after 43 years of service. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday September 25, 2007 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. A mass of the resurrection will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 904 Dundas St., Woodstock on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Interment in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Contributions to the Alzheimer Society, Autism Society of Canada, Woodstock General Hospital Foundation or the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish Building Fund would be appreciated.
