Sjoerd Heeg

HEEG, Sjoerd – Passed away suddenly at his home in New Hamburg on Tuesday, February 14th, 2023 with his wife by his side. He was in his 80th year. Sjoerd was born Idzega, Friesland, and immigrated to Ontario, Canada in February, 1999 with his wife and 2 sons, his 3 daughters stayed in the Netherlands.

Much loved husband of Rinske Heeg for 53 years. Cherished Heit of Grietje (Martin) Hoogerkamp, Dirk (Marian) Heeg, Yke (Frank) Denys, Tsjitske (Erwin) Boschma and Sytse (Anita) Heeg. Beloved Pake of Daniëlle (Koos), Annerens, William, Marit, Steven, Jorden, Jemme, Ymke, Jenna, Nathan, Jildau, Atze and Ryan.
Predeceased by his parents Dirk and Yke Heeg.
Also predeceased by his father-in-law Sytse Koene Falkena.
Dear son-in-law of Grietje Falkena-Albada.
He will also be missed by his brothers and sisters,

Visitation will take place on Monday February 20, 2023, from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm at the Emmanuel  Reformed Church, 170 Clarke St. North Woodstock (519)-537-6422 . Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday February 21, 2023, at 1 pm at the church followed by refreshments. Interment will be held at Chesterfield Cemetery and those wishing can follow the family there at 2:45 from the church. You can view the funeral service, live, online via the livestream button under the Funeral Service information specified below.
