VANDERHORN, Sippi - Passed away peacefully in her 87th year at Woodingford Lodge Woodstock on Friday March 17th, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Jack VanderHorn (2016). Dear mother of LynnVording (Bob Chantler), John (Sharry) VanderHorn, Frances Crown (Andre Tjia), and Sandra (Terry) Murray. Cherished grandmother of Scott (Nancy) Vording, Steve (Lauren) Vording, Shawn (Jen) Vording,Tim (Terri) Vording, Jenny (Steve) Pizzale, Nancy VanderHorn, Bryan (Jen) VanderHorn, James (Jenny) Crown, Justin Crown (Abbi Runnalls) , Stacy Crown (Chris Martin), Jordan (Katrina) Murray, Nicholas (Allie) Murray and great-grandmother of Joel, Riley, Portia, Anna, Avery, Kyla, Sam, Isabella, Reese, Ryder, Jack, Tessa, Colten, Ember, Claire, Carter and Emerson. Dear sister of Trien (Hielke) VanderMeulen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sippi was predeceased by her brother Piet Luinstra and sister Maaike VanDyk. Sippi and her husband Jack, dairy farmed in the Ridgeville, Bright and Embro areas. Sippi was well known for her spectacular gardens of which she grew many vegetables and hundreds of varieties of flowers. She was an active member of the Embro Fair Board, and Braemar Women's Institute. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday March 21st 2017 from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 410 Lansdowne Ave., Woodstock on Wednesday March 22nd 2017 at 11:00 am. If desired, memorial contributions to the Ronald McDonald House or Accessibility Garden at Woodingford Lodge would be appreciated. Interment at North Embro Cemetery.
