WILSON, Shirley Aileen (nee Thompson) – Passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 30th 2021 at University Hospital London, in her 90th year. Loving wife of the late Dick Wilson (1979). Cherished mother of Cheryl (late Frank) Howlett, Judy (late Jerry) Gow, Don (June Smith) Wilson, Marion (late Don) Piggott and Sharon (late Ross) Gooderham. Shirley is survived by her sister, Elizabeth “Betty” MacKenzie as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her son Stephen Wilson (1998), her sister Pearl Cook and her brothers Fred and Paul Thompson. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private celebration of life for Shirley at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004).
