Shirley Ruth (Kipp) Jones

JONES- Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer with loving family beside her at the Woodstock General Hospital, Shirley Ruth Jones of London and formerly of Woodstock in her 71st year, was called home to be with the Lord on August 18, 2005. Survived by her devoted husband Ron and his sons Ian and Kevin Jones of London, her special daughters Carol Mackay and her special friend Kerry Ellis of Brantford, Kimberley Tipping and husband Peter of Embro, granddaughters Cassandra and Sarah Tipping and Jennifer Mackay of Brantford. Also survived by beloved brother Ron Kipp and his wife Ruthe, nieces Sylvia and Annalynn, nephew Stuart Kipp and his wife Shelley and special friends Bruce and Marlene Otis of Stratford. Shirley was a member of the London Elmwood Lawn Bowling Club and past member of the Woodstock Lawn Bowling Club. Friends may call at the A. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, (539-0004) Monday 2:30- 4:30 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday at 1:30 pm with Rev. James Davey officiating. Interment in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
