JOHNSON - Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, June 22, 2007. Shirley Lee Johnson (nee Morden) of Woodstock in her 60th year. Beloved wife of David Johnson for over 38 years. Dear mother of Ryan and his wife Tracey of Princeton, Ellen Carlson and her husband Steve of Waterloo and James and his wife Janice of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Trevor and Cory Carlson. Beloved daughter of Shirley Morden of Drumbo and the late Lloyd Morden (1980). Dear sister of Sharon Jarvis and her husband John of Englehart, Kathryn Morden of Princeton and Craig Morden of Kitchener. Dear sister-in-law of Richard Jarvis of Drumbo. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends. Predeceased by her sister Gail Jarvis (2006). Shirley taught in Oxford County for over 33 years, was a part-time organist and Choir Director at Willis United Church for many years, Charter member of Global Village Women, Director and Secretary-Treasurer for Drumbo Agricultural Society, volunteered as a fundraiser for Museum School in Burgessville and volunteered at the South Gate Centre in Woodstock. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519)539-0004, Wednesday, June 27, 2007 from 2:30-4:30 & 7-9 pm. The Memorial Service will be held at Willis United Church, Drumbo on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Eloi Gunn officiating. Interment later in Wolverton Cemetery.
