On Saturday February 1, 2025 Margurite Veronica "Shirley" Hunt (Jackson, nee Hanley) passed away at Woodstock General Hospital.
Shirley will be lovingly missed by her husband Frank, and all of her children, grandchildren, step-children, and step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Shirley was born May 6, 1940, in Alliston, Ontario. She spent most of her years in the Cambridge area, eventually settling in Woodstock, Ontario.

Shirley spent the later part of her life, after raising her family, enjoying many things that brought her happiness. She loved to spend time with her husband Frank, planning travelling adventures, intending to see as much of North America as they could together. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and playing bingo with friends.

In June of last year, Shirley was diagnosed with cancer. During this courageous battle, she came out with a new lease on life and she looked forward to all she had yet yearned to do.

Shirley is survived by her husband Frank Hunt of Woodstock, Ontario; her children - William (Kim) Jackson, Darlene (Bill) Guest, Donna (Keith) Martin; step-children - Kathy Kraemer and Michael Hunt -Her grandchildren from both marriages, Aimee (Steve), Trisha (Kevin), Taylor (Lindsay), Jodie, Sam, Ryan, Eric, Cassie, Dustin and Jack. She also leaves behind her seven great-grandchildren, Hayden, Noah, Molly, Rhylen, Rileigh Aubrey and Rosie.

Shirley was pre-deceased by her first husband Harvey Jackson (2011), daughter Deb Jackson (2023) and grandson Jacob Mosher (2019)

As we reflect on Shirley's life, we can take pride in the fact that she loved and was loved by all who knew her.

May you rest in peace and in the arms of everyone who went before you. We will all love and miss you forever xo.
