Shirley Jean (Romp) Foster

FOSTER, Shirley Jean - Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock General Hospital on Saturday, July 20th, 2019.  Beloved wife of Claire Leroy Foster (dec. 2015). Sister to James Sherman “Jim” Romp of Georgetown, Ontario, John Richard “ Dick” Romp of Ashville North Carolina, and Margaret Eleanor “Susie” Bain of Oshawa, Ontario, all who are deceased. Loving mother of Thomas Albert, “Tom” (Marlyn) of Markdale, Ontario, Richard Leroy “Dick” (Ruth) of Port Stanley, Ontario, and James Douglas “Jim” (Rosemary) of Woodstock, Ontario. Dear Grandmother to Jeffrey (Gloria), Amie, Stephanie (Scott), Nathan (Stacey), Joshua (Karin), Nicholas (Kate), Jaclyn (Brody), Luke (Kara), Cody (Robyn), and Grandmother to 15 wonderful great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at St. David’s Church, 190 Springbank Ave., Woodstock on Friday July 26th, 2019, from 10-11:00 am, followed by a service in the chapel at 11am. Interment is to follow at the Innerkip cemetery.
