Shirley Margaret (Smith) Bishop

BISHOP- Peacefully at Woodstock General Hospital with family at her side on Sunday, July 17th, 2005, Shirley M. Bishop (nee Smith) in her 79th year. Predeceased by her husband Alfred A. Bishop and her brother Roy Smith and his wife Mary. Survived by her daughters and their husbands, Leslie and Michael Boomer, Susan and John Cloke, and Grandchildren Lindsay and Steve Cloke. Also survived by brothers and their wives, Don and Phyllis Smith, Win and Ellen Smith, nieces, nephew and cousins. Shirley was an active member of the Woodstock Badminton Club and Woodstock Curling Club. Special thanks to the nursing staff on 3rd floor east at Woodstock General Hospital. Family and friends will be received at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (539-0004) on Wednesday July 20 from 7-9 pm, where the memorial service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 1:30 pm with Rev.
