Shirley Jayne Benson

BENSON Shirley Jayne (nee Turkington): Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, June 29th, 2021 at V.O.N. Sakura House, Woodstock ON. in her 81st year. Shirley was predeceased by the love of her life George Benson (October 2007). She will always be remembered by her children Pat (Bob) Roos, Gwen (Doug) Benson and Darryl (Robinn) Benson. Her grandchildren Jenn McKay, Jessica (Brookes) Murray, Scott Benson, Shay Benson, and great grandchildren Brody and Elliott Murray. Also survived by her sister Sheila Usher and brother David Turkington, as well as many nieces and nephews.  Shirley was predeceased by her parents Victor and Agnes Turkington, her sisters Anna Lewis, Vicki McKay, Amelia Forman, Joyce Veenstra and her brother Doug Turkington. Friends are invited for a time of visitation at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock ON., from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 3rd, 2021.Due to Covid restrictions, guests must RSVP on the funeral home website at www.brockandvisser@rogers.com  If desired, memorial contributions to V.O.N.
