SPEIRAN, Sharon Elsie (nee Cowie)

Sharon passed away peacefully with her children by her side at University Hospital, London on November 18th, 2024, in her 76th year. Beloved wife of the late Laird Campbell Speiran (2010). Loving mother of Sean Speiran and Amanda (Chad) Johnson. Proud grandmother of Alyssa, Kate-Lyn, Madison, Lauryn and Rhys. Much loved sister of Muriel (Joe) Quint. Beloved aunt of Jennifer (Steve) Miller and Jeff (Melissa) Quint. Sharon was predeceased by her parents Herbert and Margaret Cowie. Sharon was an active member at Cedarview Gracious Retirement Living, enjoying various arts and crafts, knitting club and socializing with the many friends made during her 6 years of living there, especially her special friend, Rose. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Sharon’s Life will be held with family and friends in the upcoming weeks. Special thanks to the London Health Sciences University Hospital Cardiac Care and Rehabilitation Units, for their dedicated care of our mother. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sharon can be made to the SPCA or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
