Sharon (Billinger) Hoekstra

HOEKSTRA- Peacefully at Sakura House on Friday December 23rd 2011. Sharon Hoekstra (nee Billinger) of Kitchener and formerly of Woodstock in her 68th year. Beloved wife of the late James "Jim" Hoekstra (2008). Dear mother of Eric and Corinne, Jay and Rita, Julie and Chris Gibson. Loved grandmother of Ian and Abbey; Annika, Evelyn and Isabel; Jonah and Connor. Cherished daughter of Anna Billinger and the late Jim Billinger (1996). Dear sister of Sheila and Warren Carman, Catherine Billinger, Marsy and Paul Gulde and Tom Billinger. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Sharon was a member of the Order of Eastern Star # 199, Innerkip, involved with the Girl Guides of Canada and a member of the United Church of Canada. Friends may call at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave Woodstock, (519-539-0004) Tuesday December 27th 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel Wednesday December 28th 2011 at 11:00 am.
