Sharon Patricia Graham passed away peacefully at home on June 23, 2024, at the age of 70. Sharon's life was a testament to the power of kindness, dedication, and the deep bonds of family.
Sharon's journey began as a Woodstock native, where she cultivated a life rich in relationships and community ties. Her career at Scotiabank in Stratford spanned many years, where she was not just a dedicated employee but a friend to many.
Beyond her professional life, Sharon was the heart of her family. Though predeceased by her beloved husband, Glenn, in 2021, and her cherished son, Shane Stewart, in the same year, Sharon's legacy of love continued to flourish through her family. She was a devoted mother to Jeff Stewart and his wife Morgan, and she took immense pride in her role as "GiGi" to her grandchildren, Ashtin (Avery), Ryder, Trinity, Elizabeth “Effy”, Sierra, Charlotte “Lottie”, and Henry "Hazzy." Each of them was a sparkle in her eye, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She is fondly remembered by her brothers, Wayne Carson (Jane) and Harvey.
Sharon's family circle extended to her role as a beloved and cherished sister-in-law to Carole Graham, Lynne Walker and her husband Brad, and Elisa Rocillo and her husband Manny. She was also a dear aunt to Chris (Maria), Rob (Tyanna), Derek, Tara (Greg), Marina, Shandelle (Jason), Graham (Sunshine), Jason (Lauren), Jason and Johnny. Each of her nieces and nephews held a special place in her heart, and she in theirs.
Sharon is predeceased by her parents, Charles and Doreen Carson, brothers Charles “Chuck”, Johnny and Peter and her nephews, Christopher and Gregory.
Her interests were simple yet profound: Sharon loved her family fiercely, and she loved to talk and visit. Her home was always open, her kitchen table always ready for another cup of coffee and a good chat. She had an extraordinary ability to listen and make everyone around her feel important and loved.
A celebration at a later date for her life that was lived to the fullest and with such love. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, or to Ronald McDonald House.
