MOODY, Scott Forrest- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing at University Hospital, London, on Thursday, December 15th, 2022, in his 63rd year surrounded by his family. Dear husband to Earleen Moulton. Proud father of Donovan Moody. Loved brother of Ron (Linda) Moody, and sister Penny. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Scott enjoyed 35 years with London Life, then Freedom 55 Financial and finally Canada Life, as a financial advisor and planner. Scott was dedicated to serving his clients and many became good friends. Scott loved to travel; he and his family made several trips to Greece, a particular favorite of Scott’s, along with PEI where they had a cottage and enjoyed several years making wonderful memories and friends on St. Margaret’s beach. Scott loved all kinds of music, having attended many concerts and had an extensive LP, CD and on-line collection.
Heartfelt thanks go out to Dr. Shoesmith and her team at UH; Sheila at ALS Canada and the support group of friends who helped to make the burden of ALS much less so; to Dawn and the Home Care team, including PSWs from VON; Steve and his team at Excel Pharmacy; Ilderton fire and first responders, and special thanks to Rhonda who helped make Scott’s last few weeks, and feet, more comfortable.
Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for a celebration of Scott’s life at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, (519-539-0004), on Saturday, January 14th, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Words of remembrance will be at 3 pm . In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the ALS Society of Canada, the Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation & Education Centre and the Polar Bears International would be greatly appreciated.
