Sandra (Sloan) Mccaughey

McCaughey, Sandra "Safe in the arms of Jesus". After a debilitating illness, Sandra passed away peacefully at University Hospital London, on Sunday November 24, 2013, in her 66th year. Beloved wife of Brian and dear mother of Michael and Donna. She will be sadly missed by her brother Will (England), her sister Elaine (Australia) and her in-laws the McCaughey family from North Ireland. Sandra was born in Belfast, North Ireland, where she married Brian on June 27th 1970. They emigrated to Canada on the 29th of October, 1974. Friends will be received at the Harland B. Betzner Funeral Home 177 Dundas Street, Thamesford on Tuesday from 2- 4 and 7- 9pm. Funeral service will be held at Dorchester Presbyterian Church 1669 Richmond Street, Dorchester, on Wednesday November 27, 2013 at 11AM with Reverend Heather Paton officiating. Interment Dorchester Union Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be given to the Dorchester Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund. Special thanks to the staff at both Kensington Village and University Hospital for their loving and compassionate care.
