Sandra Lynn (Weir) Johnson

JOHNSON, SANDRA LYNN, It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Sandra after a lengthy and courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. Sandra passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at VON Sakura House on Sunday, March 8th, 2015. Sandra Johnson (nee Weir) was in her 68th year. She was the beloved wife of Terry Johnson for over 45 years. Loving mother of Gregory Johnson (Kelly) of Woodstock and Aaron Johnson (Jennifer) of Collingwood. Nana to her five treasured grandchildren Claire, Reed, Griffin, Kieran, and Ainslee. Daughter of Kathleen Weir and sister of Mary Pearson (Rob) of St. Thomas. Sandra will be missed by her 3 nieces, 8 nephews, and dear friends Deanna Guttridge, Anne Nicholson, and Doris Swartz. Sandra was predeceased by her father, James Weir, and her sister, Karen Nethercott. Visitation is to be held at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, 519-539-0004, on Tuesday, March 10th from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. The Memorial Service followed by interment will take place in the chapel on Wednesday, March 11th at 10:00 a.m with Rev. Stewart Deller officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation, the Autism Society of Canada, or the Children's Make a Wish Foundation.
