Sam Pommer

POMMER- Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday June 13, 2006. Sanford "Sam" Harry Pommer of RR#1 Princeton in his 75th year. Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Frances Pommer (nee Halashewski), Dear father of Harry Pommer of Hamilton, Dave Pommer, Rose (Jeff) Dunning, and Debbie Pommer all of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Kevin (Penny) Pommer, Matt Dunning, and Jessica Dunning. Great grandfather of Christopher Pommer. Loved brother of Helen Davies, Catherine Becker, Esther Prince, Ruth Schnieder, Art Pommer, and Ruby Lingenbach. Predeceased by his parents Otto and Edna Pommer. Also survived by his many nieces and nephews and will be sadly missed by his pets Ruffles and Buffy. Sam was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #55, Woodstock. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 am with Rev.
