HORINGA, Sally - Suddenly at her home on Wednesday October 26, 2011, Sally "Saakje" Horinga (nee De Boer) of Woodstock in her 76th year. Beloved wife of the late Wiebe Horinga (2009). Loving mother of Annie Davis (Brad) and Jack Horinga (Tina). Loving grandmother to Alyssa, Brittany and Adriana. Sister of Audrey (Ken) Howard. Predeceased by her brother Albert De Boer (2009). Predeceased by her parents Eelke and Anna De Boer of Embro. Sally was a lifetime member of Covenant Christian Reformed Church in Woodstock. She was a long time employee of Firestone Textiles and had been retired for 15 years. She will always be remembered for her lifelong love of gardening and flowers. Friends may call at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Sunday October 30, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A memorial service to honour Sally's life will be held at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, Lansdowne Ave., Woodstock on Monday October 31, 2011 at 11:00 am with Pastor Bob Loerts officiating. A private family interment will have taken place at the North Embro Cemetery. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
