Sally Ann (nee Kenney) Carter passed away October 10, 2024, beloved wife of the late Douglas Carter. Loving mother of Patricia Riness & late husband Larry (2009) and Ronald Wencel (2019) and Scott Carter and his wife Connie. Cherished grandmother to Jennie Riness, Trevor Riness, Ashley (Jamie) Sperberg and Drew (Stephanie) Carter. Beloved Great Grandmother to Bryce, Emery and Vivian. Dear sister to Sharon Schermerhorn and Bill Kenney. Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Etta Kenney and sisters Sandra Hoover and Susan Carter. Daughter-In-Law to the late Edwin and Catherine Carter. Sister-in-law to Donald and Marjorie Carter. Remembering her nieces and nephews David (Andrea, Barb (Ed), Susan, Paul (Morna), Michael (Amy) Crystal, Kelly. A special thought for Matthew Schermerhorn. Sally was a member of Omar Temple No. 111 Daughters of the Nile for many years. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024, from 2 to 4 and again from 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be taking place Thursday, October 17th in the chapel at 11:00 am. If desired, memorial contributions to the College Ave. United Church would be greatly appreciated.
