Ruthann Margaret (Strickert) Macleod

MacLeod, Ruthann M. - Passed away at the Woodstock Hospital, on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late John E. MacLeod (2019). Dear sister of Bertha Binns (late Clifford), (late) Roy Strickert (Donna), Janet Wolfe (Garry), (late) Marion Frame, and sister-in-law to Marguerite Campbell, Myrna MacLeod, and will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her niece Janice Ruth Strickert and by her parents; John and Mary (nee Druce) Strickert. Ruthann was a longtime member and volunteer at Dundas St. United Church and was employed at the O.R.C. for over 30 years. Her love for her garden and flowers were her passion. Ruthann will always be remembered for her dedication and care she showed her many furry family members over the years. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, where the memorial service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am with Rev. Dr. Margaret Trapnell officiating.  Cremation has taken place. Interment in the Hillview Cemetery.
