WIGHTMAN - At her home on August 15, 2006. E. Ruth Wightman (nee Rest) of Woodstock in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Bill R. Wightman for over 67 years. Dear mother of Bob and his wife Ruth Ann of Eden and Carol Weiler (Pete) of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Debbie Masters (Gary), Billy (Sarah), Bobby (Katie), Jennifer Shymanski (Mike) and will be sadly missed by her many great grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Walter "Bud" Smith of Guelph. Predeceased by her sisters Rita Harlow and Doreen Smith. Ruth had been a longtime member of College Ave. Church. She was the last surviving member of her own family. Friends may call at the R. D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Friday August 18, 2006 after 12:30 pm where the complete funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:30 pm with Rev. David Duncan officiating. Interment in the Hillview Cemetery. Contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
