Stevens Ruth Elaine Peacefully at L. H. S. C. - University Campus, London, on Saturday January 21, 2012. Ruth Elaine (Calder) of Thorndale in her 71st year. Loving wife of Andrew Stevens for 50 years and cherished mother of Dwayne (Ann) of Thorndale, Cheryl (Bruce) and Bonita (Randy) all of London and Blair (Lorrie) of Thorndale. Proud "Granny" of Dawn (Dave), Andrea ( Tyler), Dana (Chad), Garan and Kianna, and great grandmother of Delanie, Kamdyn and Blake. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Jim (Jeannie) of Dacula, Ga., Carol of London and Heather Stevens of St. Thomas. Also sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families. Predeceased by her parents Ross and Ruth (Wilsdon) Calder. As spring was Elaine's favorite season, a celebration of her life will be held at Purple Hill Country Hall, 20903 Purple Hill Road, Thames Centre, Saturday April 28, 2012 at 11 AM., with Reverend Douglas Peck officiating, followed by fellowship, refreshment and a time to share memories of her life. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Harland B.
