Ruth Beatrice Robinson

ROBINSON, Ruth B. (née Brown) – Passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 31st, 2019 at Woodingford Lodge in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Art Robinson (2014). Loving mother of Liz Park (Dave Doyle) of Woodstock, and Dr. Paul (Karen) Robinson of Ancaster. Cherished grandmother to Brittney (Chris Sawyer) Park-Sawyer, Andrew Park, Regan Robinson and Kyle Robinson, and great grandmother to Ophelia Sawyer. Ruth was predeceased by her parents Elizabeth and Charles Brown, and by her siblings Bill, Elizabeth and Charles. Ruth was a nurse and nursing instructor at the Woodstock General Hospital and later, Fanshawe College, Woodstock campus, for close to 40 years, retiring in 1994. She was passionate about her nursing career and thoroughly enjoyed teaching, mentoring and forming on-going friendships with the many nursing students she taught over the years. Visitation will take place at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock, ON (519-539-0004) on September 6th, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm. A service will be held the following day at Bethany Lutheran Church, 175 Springbank Avenue, Woodstock, ON (519-539-2451) at 1:00 pm, with visitation one hour prior. If desired, memorial donations to the Bethany Lutheran Church would be appreciated, and may be arranged through the Funeral Home.
