Ruth Kathleen Odell

ODELL, Ruth Kathleen – Passed away peacefully at Woodstock Hospital on Thursday, December 8th, 2022, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late George Odell (1996). Loving mother of Larry (Karen) Odell and Keith Odell. Cherished grandmother of Elizabeth (Thomas Briginshaw) Odell and will always be remembered by her sister-in-law Mary Nicklas. Predeceased by her sister Ada Hoffmeyer, and by her brothers Carl Nicklas and Ross Nicklas. Ruth was a life-long member of the U.C.W. at Hickson United where she participated in the many activities such as the choir. She was also an active member for many years with the Anna P. Lewis Women’s Institute. Friends are welcome to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004 on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, from 10:00 – 11:00 am, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Interment after the reception in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial contributions to a charity of your own choice.
