Ruth Isabella (Mcdowell) Malott

MALOTT, Ruth I. - Peacefully at her residence on Wednesday October 16, 2013. Ruth Isabella (nee McDowell) Malott of Caressant Care, Woodstock in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Burleigh Malott. Cherished mother of Bryan and his wife Carol of Innerkip. Dear grandmother of Matthew (Abby), Cara (Mike) Collins and great grandmother of Kayla, Nicholas, Madison, Hannah, Brooklynn and Lucas. Predeceased by her brother Harold Mcdowell and infant daughter Carol. Ruth was an elementary teacher in Kent and Norfolk Counties for many years. She was a member of the Tilbury United Church, past member of the UCW Institute and was actively involved in many activities with her church families, including Huron Park Baptist Church, Woodstock. Family and Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Monday October 21, 2013 from 2-4 pm where the private family service will be held in the chapel. Interment later in McDowell Cemetery, Tilbury. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Bible Society or Gideons International would be appreciated.
