VANDEWATER (JAMES)- At Caressant Care Nursing Home Woodstock on Saturday December 20, 2003. Ruth E. Vandewater (James) (nee Moore) in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Walter H. James (1973) and C. Ernie Vandewater (1997). Dear mother of Leonard James and his wife Marilyn of London. Loved grandmother of Kevin James and his wife Karen, Richard James, Christine Elliott and her husband Pete, Douglas James and his wife Karen. Loved great grandmother of Kelsie, Mitchell & Ethan. Dear mother-in-law of Marilyn and her family and sister of Mildred Dupont of Wroxeter. Predeceased by her son Roy James (1983), Sister, Anne Thompson and brothers Stanley, Charles, Russell and Ed Moore. Ruth was a member of College Avenue U.C.W. as well as a member of Women of the Moose Woodstock. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (539-0004) Monday 2:30-4:30 & 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel Tuesday at 1:30 pm.
