Cassells (nee McLeod) Ruth Jean

It is with tremendous love, peace, and sadness we share the passing of our beloved matriarch.  Reunited with her husband Garnet, her parents Nora and Norman McLeod, and her sister Margaret Woodall.  After a short illness, and an incredibly full life, Ruth left us peacefully to join her husband in heaven, with her family by her side.

A strong and devoted mother to Suzanne (Richard) Martin, Norman (Loreen) Cassells, and Janet (Tom) Jancetic.

Nurturing and loving Grandmother to Kimberly (Aaron), Jeffery (Sara), Aimee, Shawn (Amanda), and Courtney (Cam).

Ruth was a Great Grandmother to Connor, Brenden, Lauren, Ethan, Alayna, Myles, Charley, Josie, Tori, Payton, Logan, and Jaxton.  Great Great Grandmother to Finley.

Ruth lived a full life as a social butterfly.  She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.  Playing bridge, working with UCW church group, knitting, quilting bowling, baking, and Bingo.

Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock on Monday, October 17th, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 p.m.  Interment at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
