CARTER, Ruth Marion- At the London Health Sciences Centre - University Campus, on Thursday, April 21st 2011. Ruth M. Carter (nee Cowing) of Caressant Care, Woodstock and formerly of Clarke St., Woodstock in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Hamilton O. Carter (2002). Dear Mother of Jim (Diane) of Thunder Bay, Anne (Edward) Duffield of London, David (Becky) of Kitchener, and Stephen (Nishme) of Burlington. Loved grandmother of thirteen grandchildren and great grandmother of eleven. Also survived by her sisters Edith (late Carmen) Denton, Helen (Harold) Stover, and brother Robert (Shirley) Cowing. Predeceased by her parents Emery and Elsie (nee Trussler) Cowing. The family will receive friends at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday April 26 2011 after 10 am where the funeral service will take place in the chapel at 11:00 am.
