ALLISON - Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Woodstock on Sunday May 9, 2010. Ruth Isabel Allison (nee Forman) of Woodstock in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Tom Allison (1993). Dear father of Ron (Cheryl) Allison of Brantford and Larry (Denise) Allison of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Darren (Andrea) Allison and Marty (Jen) Allison all of Sarnia, Travis (Beth) Allison, Sarah Jane (Mike) VanDeLaar, and Lianne (George) Barber all of Woodstock, and Keven (Tricia) Trembley of Innisfil. Cherished great grandmother of eleven great grandchildren. Dear sister of Ross (Evelyn) Forman of London and Neil (Marion) Forman of Listowel. Predeceased by her two grandsons, sister Jean Thompson and brothers Graham and Murray Forman. Ruth was a longtime member of both Curries United Church and College Avenue Church. Visitation will be held at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday May 13, 2010 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm followed by the complete funeral service in the chapel at 1:30 pm with Rev. David Duncan officiating. Private family interment later at the Elma Centre Cemetery.
