Russell Ernest Nancekivell

NANCEKIVELL, Russell Ernest - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Alexandra Hospital on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the age of 72. Russell was born on April 26, 1944, was loved and will be dearly missed by his wife of 51 years, Shirley (LaRose). He was the loving father to Sherrie (Jim) Thorne and Steven (Lydia). Cherished grandfather to Ashley and Brooke. Russell will also be fondly remembered by his mother Evelyn and brothers, Lew (Nancy), Jim (Karen), Reuben (Violet), Ray (Judy), and brother-in-law Walter (Merriel), Ernie (Sharon) and sister-in-law Kay and his many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by his father Stanley (1970), father-in-law Howard (1988), mother-in-law Darlene (2002) and brother-in-law Lloyd (2008). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from 6-9pm at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home Thamesford Chapel, 177 Dundas St., Thamesford, where the funeral will be held on Wednesday at 11:00am with visitation an hour prior. Pastoral Care Minister Gerard Hamoen officiating. Interment later in the Putnam Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made as donation to Alexandra Hospital or the Westminster United Church.
