Russell Howard Lightheart

LIGHTHEART, Russell Howard - Passed away peacefully at Woodstock Hospital on Thursday, January 3rd, 2019 in his 90th year. Born August 9th, 1929 to Alice "Ollie" O'Mahoney (1998) and Delloyd "Barney" Lightheart (1979). Survived by his wife Dorothy Faye. Loving father of Allan "Sam" Lightheart and cherished grandpa of Deanna and Tasha Lightheart. Dear brother of Stanley (late Ila, 2008) Lightheart and Barbara (late Ken, 1999) Winlaw. Forever missed by his special companion Memphis. Always remembered by his lifelong friend Jack and Marg Crawford. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Russell was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #495 Beachville. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial visitation will be held at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock ON, (519-539-0004) on Wednesday, January 9th, 2019 from 12 - 2 pm and 6-8 pm.
