Rudolf "Rudy" Nanasi

NANASI, Rudolf "Rudy" - Peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family at VON-Sakura House Woodstock on Friday April 12th, 2019. Rudy Nanasi of Woodstock and formerly of Kitchener in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Julie C. Nanasi (nee Townshend). Loved father of Daniel (Tiffany Ferguson) Nanasi and Timothy Nanasi. Dear brother of Martin Nanasi, Heidi Powell, Giselle (Howard) Holst, Fred (Julie) Nanasi and Mitzi Nanasi. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Rudolph and Franziska Nanasi. Rudy's passion, work ethic and brilliance in problem solving fueled his successful career in stamping presses and manufacturing. Never one to back down from a challenge, he also aspired to excellence in his love of golf, cycling and computer building. He will be remembered for his quick wit and dry sense of humour. Many thanks to his doctors at the London Regional Cancer Program, his team of St. Elizabeth home care nurses: Yvonne, Patti, Tammy and Kim, Dr. Jeff Nichols, Dr. Karen Fryer, Freda, Rina, Corrine, Kim and Loretta at the Woodstock Hospital Chemotherapy Unit and the wonderful team of palliative doctors, nurses and volunteers at Sakura House. Friends are invited to meet with the family for a reception at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), on Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm.
